Hard at work!

I apologize for not being around as much lately ㅠㅠ But if you would like to know the reason why… here’s why! Of course, I have my Korean studies and Chinese studies—I make sure I study each one at least 30min a day, but usually an hour or more—and I have recently thrown some reading for my grad program into the mix.

About that… I haven’t been accepted yet, and even if I am accepted for the TESOL master program that I want, I won’t be starting until August next year. Still, I thought it would be a good idea to get back into reading and taking notes on academic papers. Plus since I’m working in the TESOL field already, everything I am reading is relevant to my work. Particularly, I realize now that I know very little about teaching theory so reading up on that is good. I’m also reading about the English education field with a specific focus on the Korean context. All very interesting, but all very time-consuming.

In addition, I’ve been trying out new recipes since I take my own lunch to work. The extra time spent cooking is less blogging time, sadly! I also make time for planning for my trip to the US in January with my boyfriend and just hanging out with him in general.

So yes, I am a busy Bee (lame pun, sorry >.>). HOWEVER! I will work on my time management and get more useful content out for you guys. I have a few posts I planned on writing a while back about different aspects of and techniques for learning languages, but is there anything else you would like me to address? Let me know~

As always, happy studying <3
